FIELD STUDIES:

Lower Merion Conservancy Field Studies

October 16th classroom visit and lesson

October 23rd History Hike and Stream Study at LMC

Week of April 11th- Fish and Dam classroom lesson

Week of May 2nd - Shad Run at LMC

Week of May 29th- Dam Building at LMC

*Cost for all classroom visits and trips to LMC $65 (cash only please)

We will be heading to Rolling Hills park to learn about the history of the area. We will also have the chance to study the park's creek and see how it ties into our watershed.

Make sure you get a good night's rest. You should eat a nutritional breakfast; we will not eat until noon.

Students should wear their regular Green Woods gym uniform, with water/hiking shoes. Green Woods sweatshirt would be a good addition, it's chilly in the morning.

Everyone will need to bring a disposable lunch in a brown/plastic bag. All items in your lunch need to be disposed of at LMC. (No plastic containers for snacks.) No glass. Please write your child’s name on the front of the bag.

Art Speaks: Philadelphia Museum of Art

We will be visiting the Philadelphia Museum of Art to tour the museum and learn about different works of art and many different artists.
