Birthdays

If it is your child’s birthday please do not send in any food items. You may send your child in with a book to donate to our classroom- that they can read to the class or that I can read to the class if they would like. (This is not mandatory.) Students are also allowed to bring in a small gift, such as an eraser, pencil, etc. to give out to each student (again this is not mandatory). If you decide to send your child in with a small gift for their classmates, please note that there are 26 students in our class. Please do not bring birthday invitations into class!

Trips and Field Studies

We will be going on and conducting field studies throughout the year. Information will be sent home in advance about the trip. There will be some trips in which you have the opportunity to chaperone. Chaperones will be chosen after the permission slips are due. All chaperones must have up to date clearances on file. I will do my best to make sure as many parents as possible have the opportunity to chaperone throughout the year.
