About Ms. Gasparino

My name is Ms Gasparino and I am so excited to be your 4th grade teacher. This is my third year teaching at Green Woods and I am so excited to get to know you and your family!

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I went to the University of Scranton, and graduated with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I am currently in Grad School working towards my Masters in Education with a Reading Specialist Certification. Before coming to Green Woods Charter School, I taught in a NYC Department of Education Public School in Brooklyn, NY for three years (both with substitute teaching and full time teaching experiences).

I am looking forward to a wonderful year together in Fourth Grade. This year you will learn a lot and grow to be a responsible and independent student. I am excited for all of the amazing things we have planned for this year. I am here to teach you, as well as learn from you.

I am also a coach for our school's running club! I enjoy running and getting students to enjoy running as much as I do. I am looking forward to another great season with our runners!
